The history of padlock production in Volmarstein, south of Dortmund, Germany, dates back to 1750. With the start of industrialization, Formarstein was recognized worldwide as Castle City, and Alfred Lüling was founded here in 1920.

Currently, the 4th generation maintains high quality and is evaluated by continuing traditional craftsmanship. The castle marked with the logo is Formalstein Castle, a landmark of the area.

Burg Wechter, which started as a key trading company in 1920 and now manufactures various security-related products, from safes to door locks by fingerprint authentication.
