The Original Mahogany Retro Style School Chair - Liberty Stripes

These chairs are 100% designed and manufactured in the UK by top craftsmanship. Every chair is made from a solid 22mm tube steel frame construction which is finished in a clear lacquer. 12mm laminated plywood backs and seats are then riveted to the frame to complete the chair. 

Because of the handcrafted nature of the product each chair bears its own subtle differences and characteristics. The frames come clear powder coated to enhance the natural steel look which, together with the beautiful variations in the graining patterns of the Beech backs and seats, means that each chair is truly a unique piece in its own right.

In keeping with Lesley and Olivia's utilitarian/industrial concept the product is purposely ‘over-engineered’ with the frames in 22mm steel tube and the backs and seats in 12mm laminated ply. It is a chair designed to last a very long time.
