The French chair is now a classic and has been in designed by Frédéric Sofia. The factory sits in Thoissey, a tiny village north of Lyon. They make around 400,000 pieces of furniture a year from the factory. Over the years the factory has been modernised but every piece is still hand checked by eye. The raw materials used to make any piece is 98% recycled. Every piece produced is made from recycled material at birth. All the ranges are designed to live outdoors with the tough paint finishes but these are still ECO based and solvent free with UV protection to keep the paint bright and fresh.
Designed to reinterpret the legendary Luxembourg garden armchairs and chairs, created in 1923 in the Paris parks department workshops, and which Fermob still manufactures today for the city’s public gardens. The result was the famous Luxembourg chair with the same distinctive lines and forms, combining the lightness and resistance of aluminium with the comfort of curved seat slats. Boasting an ergonomic design and stacking frame, the chair comes in all 24 shades of the Fermob colour chart. There really is something for every taste!
Please specify the colour finish in the order comments box.
It can take 5-7 weeks to process an order depending on ready made stock and or your choice of finish.
