The Vermund story can be traced right back to 1935, when the young Vermund Larsen started manufacturing steel products. With two good hands, plenty of ideas and a good helping of optimism, he got started on making his first chair out of steel rods and fibreglass.
The stool is the matching piece to the VL135 “Cosy” chair. It's a classic and comfortable lounge chair that was originally introduced in 1960, around the time of the company’s 25th anniversary. It went by the name of “Cosy”, which still stands as an acknowledgement of Vermund Larsen’s design.
