The now iconic German stool has been in production since 1949 and should be considered a long lasting classic. Designed by Egon Eiermann "The stool is a complicated object. Anyone who has ever tried to design a stool knows this. There are endless possibilities and many problems - the stool must be lightweight, it must be strong and comfortable at the same time. It is almost easier to build a high-rise than a stool". The factory is located just outside of Stuttgart where every piece is still manufactured by hand with traditional tooling techniques. Wilde+Spieth has been making functional furniture for bars, orchestra's, restaurants, hotels and general households for decades.

Constructed from layered beech plywood veneer. Steel sub straits are either powdercoated or electroplated in chrome. Seat base is finished in natural beech wood. 

It can take 6-8 weeks to process an order depending on ready made stock and or your choice of finish.

International customers will be liable to pay customs and duties once your order reaches your country's border.

All lead times quoted are for delivery to mainland UK, if ordering outside of this area there will be an additional transit time relevant to your destination.

Our returns policy lasts for 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase has been delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Goods / Returns must be received to Dyke & Dean within 14 days of being delivered to you. If Goods / Returns are received after this we will not issue a refund. Notification to our office of your return via telephone, email, fax and or letter within 14 days does not mean a refund will be given. A refund will only be reviewed if the Goods / Returns are received within 14 days to our possession.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning the goods. 

Bespoke/Made to order products, cut lengths of fabric cable under 100m and Outlet items are non-returnable.
